Obverse description Central device depicting the Mongkut (royal crown) of Rama IV, rendered in tiered pagoda form with a flame finial at apex, flanked on either side by foliate sprays in a decorative arrangement. The design occupies the full field and is executed in high relief consistent with hammered coinage technique.
