| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Frederick II (Frederick the Great) of Prussia, depicted in armor with an elaborately decorated gorget and lace cravat, his curled wig rendered in fine detail. The effigy is modeled in high relief with strong baroque character, truncated at the shoulder. The surrounding legend reads FRIDERICVS BORVSSORVM REX, disposed along the inner edge of the milled border, in evenly spaced Latin capitals. |
