Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Friedrich II (Frederick the Great) facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed periwig falling to the shoulder. The effigy displays the king's characteristic sharp profile with prominent nose. The peripheral Latin legend FRIDERICUS BORUSSORUM REX ('Frederick, King of the Prussians') surrounds the portrait, reading clockwise from the lower left. The field is smooth and unadorned, focusing attention entirely on the royal effigy.

Reverse description A crowned Prussian eagle with wings spread, facing right, perched atop a martial trophy composed of furled battle standards, a drum, and a cannon, all resting on a ground line. The date 1770 is divided by the eagle's head and crown in the upper field. The mint mark letter A, flanked by two six-pointed stars, appears in the lower exergual area. The bold, sculptural composition reflects the Baroque military iconography characteristic of Frederician coinage.
