Reverse description Central device comprising the Prussian royal arms: an elaborately mantled shield bearing the Hohenzollern eagle displayed, with the royal cypher 'FR' (Fridericus Rex) interlaced on the breast of the eagle. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown of Baroque form with ornate scrollwork and pearled arches. Flanking the shield are elaborate acanthus-leaf mantling. The date 1750 is divided to either side of the crown in large numerals, and the Berlin mint mark 'A' appears at the base of the design below the shield. No peripheral legend is present; the reeded edge frames the composition.
