| 背面描述 | The Albanian royal coat of arms occupies the centre of the field, featuring a shield charged with the double-headed black eagle, supported by two fasces draped with cords and surmounted by a royal helmet with mantling. The word PROVA, denoting the trial or pattern status of the piece, appears to the right of the coat of arms in the field. The circular legend · SHQIPNI · runs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 1 · FRANG · AR is inscribed along the lower periphery. |

Albanian prova coins of the 1930s were produced in very small numbers — typically a few dozen pieces — for official inspection and approval before a design was authorized for circulation. This particular issue was never approved for general striking, making surviving examples the entire population rather than a fraction of one.
Zog I had declared himself king in 1928, seven years after seizing the presidency, and Italian financial influence over Albania during this period was substantial enough that Rome's Istituto Poligrafico dello Stato handled much of the country's coin production and design approval.
