| Obverse description | Draped and armored bust of Grand Duke Pietro Leopoldo facing left, wearing a cuirass decorated with a starburst ornament and a lace cravat, with long flowing curled hair. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque manner, engraved by Luigi Siries. The Latin legend circumscribes the bust, reading PETRVS LEOPOLDVS D·G·P·R·H·ET·B·A·A·M·D·ETRVR·, abbreviated titulature identifying him as Prince Royal of Hungary and Bohemia and Archduke of Austria and Grand Duke of Tuscany. |
