| Obverse description | The face is framed by an ornate architectural border with olive and laurel branches, clusters of grapes, and other Provençal fruits flanking a central guilloche panel. The denomination UN FRANC is printed in large bold lettering within the central vignette, above the authority text naming the Chambers of Commerce of Avignon, Marseille, and Nîmes. Three manuscript signatures appear across the lower centre, with the series letter and number at bottom left and the serial number at bottom right. |
