| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing portrait bust of Prince Rainier III of Monaco rendered in high relief, depicting him in military dress uniform. The engraver's signature R. COCHET appears in small letters at the lower left of the bust. The circular legend RAINIER III PRINCE DE MONACO arcs around the upper periphery, while the date 1960 appears in the lower exergual area flanked by raised dots.
