| Obverse description | Within a beaded inner circle, the field displays a multi-line Arabic inscription naming the ruler Muhammad Al-Habib, Muddat Bey of Tunisia, flanked on either side by a palm frond and an olive branch rising from the base. The denomination '1 Franc' is inscribed in Arabic numerals and script in the lower central portion of the field, with the Hijri date 1347 and the word 'Sana' (year) appearing along the base. The entire design is enclosed within a dentilated outer border. |
