| 备注 |
Montoire-sur-le-Loir held a depot for captured enemy officers during the First World War, and like many such facilities, it generated its own internal scrip when the French national supply chain couldn't reliably serve isolated prisoner populations. These camp-issued notes circulated only within the depot's economy — canteen purchases, small debts between inmates — and had no value beyond the wire.
Officer camps operated under different conditions than enlisted prisoner sites; the Hague Conventions entitled officers to certain privileges, including pay, which created a genuine need for a functioning internal currency rather than a pure token system.
