| Obverse description | Plain light ground with a single-rule border frame. The commune name 'Grugies' is overprinted in large violet type at the top centre, above the letterpress text 'BON DES RÉGIONS DE SAINT-QUENTIN & DE GUISE' and the denomination 'UN FRANC' in bold. A large circular violet commune stamp is applied at centre-left, partially overlapping the text, and the note carries handwritten signatures of the President and two members of the Commission below a ruled panel bearing the issue date and serial number. The printer's imprint appears at the foot. |
