Reverse description A centrally placed caduceus — the winged staff entwined by two serpents — divides the denomination numeral '1' to the left and the letter 'F' to the right, all within a circle of six-pointed star ornaments and a beaded border. The Dutch inscription GOED VOOR curves along the upper arc, and the date appears in the lower exergue flanked by the two digits on either side of the caduceus staff. The overall composition is bold and symmetrical, in the Art Deco style typical of Belgian coinage of the period.
