| Obverse description | Salmon-tinted note with a blue letterpress border of fine guilloche ornament framing the entire face. The issuer's title 'CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE ROANNE' and the deliberation date 'DU 28 JUIN 1915' are typeset at the top, above the large bold denomination 'UN FRANC' at centre. To the left, the municipal coat of arms of Roanne flanked by laurel branches; to the right, a caduceus vignette. A red circular monogram medallion occupies the centre between the handwritten signatures of the Treasurer (G.
