| Obverse description | Blue-green letterpress design on cream paper, centred on a circular vignette of a classical female head in three-quarter profile, surrounded by elaborate scrollwork and foliate arabesques. Ribbon banderoles at upper left and right name the arrondissements of Nîmes, Uzès, and Le Vigan, while the series number appears at lower left and the note number at lower right, flanked by vignettes of commerce-related implements. The denomination UN FRANC is set in large bold type across the centre, with the validity dates 1915–1920 along the lower border and the printer's imprint at each foot. |
