| Obverse description | The note is printed in dark blue and salmon-pink on a cream ground, with an elaborate guilloche border incorporating four corner medallions each bearing an interlaced monogram. The denomination «UN FRANC» appears in bold white letterpress within a solid blue central band, surmounted by the issuer's title «CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE NANCY» in spaced capitals. Below the denomination panel, two manuscript signatures appear above the printed titles «Le Président» and «Le Trésorier», flanking the arms of Nancy — a thistle surmounted by a ducal crown — alongside the series and serial number. |
