Four heraldic shields at the corners, each accompanied by ribbon scrolls and labelled with the town names LONS-LE-SAUNIER, POLIGNY, SAINT-CLAUDE, and DÔLE, frame a central cartouche containing the redemption clause in script. The denomination "UN FRANC" is split across the top and bottom of the design in bold letterpress. |
