| Obverse description | Brown letterpress note with a floral and foliate border framing the entire face. A diamond-shaped vignette at upper centre contains the municipal arms of Carcassonne. The issuer's name, CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE CARCASSONNE, is set in large display type below, followed by the deliberation date and the bold denomination UN FRANC in the centre field.
