The centre carries the large denomination text "UN FRANC" flanked on each side by an ornate cartouche enclosing the numeral "1f", surmounted by a caduceus-and-wings vignette. Two manuscript signature lines for the Trésorier and the Président appear below the denomination, with a note of exchangeability against Banque de France notes printed in small text at centre base. The whole is enclosed within a finely ruled guilloche border. |

A redemption notice appears below within the guilloche border frame. |
