Reverse description A tall, centrally positioned oil palm tree dominates the field, its fronds spreading broadly at the top with finely detailed rendering of the leaflets. Flanking the trunk in the middle ground are the large denomination numerals '1' and 'F' (for Franc). The date 1930 appears at the base of the trunk, straddling it symmetrically. The inscription CONGO BELGE curves along the lower portion of the field, with a beaded border encircling the design.
