The denomination '1 FR.' is prominently struck in the upper central field above the palms. The circular legend 'TERRITOIRES·SOUS·MANDAT·DE·LA·FRANCE' runs along the upper rim, with '·CAMEROUN·' inscribed along the lower rim, separated by decorative stops. 附加信息

France's postwar aluminum-bronze franc series emerged from a currency crisis that had shattered confidence in paper money — the franc lost roughly 80% of its value between 1914 and 1928, and the government struggled for years to stabilize a coinage the public would actually accept. The 1924–1926 window falls squarely in that unstable period, before Poincaré's financial reforms finally anchored the franc at one-fifth its prewar gold parity.

Aluminum bronze was chosen partly for cost and partly to discourage hoarding — a deliberate policy decision rather than a metallurgical one.
