Obverse description Printed in red, this colonial cash voucher bears a sailing ship vignette at lower left and the Guadeloupe coat of arms at top center, surrounded by an ornate typographic border incorporating palm trees, barrels, and armorial motifs. The text block occupies the central field, setting out the authorizing decrees, denomination, and redemption terms in period letterpress. The designer's imprint 'SAUNIER FECIT' appears at the foot of the note.
