| Obverse description | Left-centre oval intaglio vignette of King Albert I in military uniform, shown in left-facing profile against a fine guilloche underprint. The bank title 'BANQUE NATIONALE DE BELGIQUE' and denomination 'UN FRANC' with the clause 'PAYABLE A VUE' appear to the right, alongside an ornate monogram cartouche.
