| 裏面の説明 | A symmetrical wreath of laurel branches, tied at the base with crossed mining picks and a shovel — emblems of the mining trade — frames a seven-line central inscription in the field. The bilingual commemorative text, in Czech and German, reads ZUR ERINNERUNG AN DIE ERREICHTE SAIGERTEUFE VON 1000 METER / PŘIBRAM / 1875, celebrating the achievement of a vertical shaft depth of 1,000 metres at the Příbram silver mine. The peripheral legend, running around the full circumference, carries the Czech portion of the dedication: UPOMINKA NA DOSAŽENOU KOLMOU HLOUBKU 1000 METRŮ. The composition is enclosed within a beaded border consistent with the obverse. |

The Příbram mine, located in Bohemia, was one of the most productive silver operations in Central Europe during the nineteenth century and periodically supplied bullion directly to the Vienna mint. This florin was struck specifically from Příbram silver — a so-called "Bergwerksmedaille" or mine issue — a practice that served both as a record of provenance and a form of institutional prestige for the mining authority. Such pieces were not struck for general circulation.
The X# catalog prefix confirms its status outside the regular coinage series, placing it among Austrian notgeld, tokens, and special strikes rather than the standard crown coinage run.
