| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Francis Joseph I facing right, his hair rendered in fine detail with a laurel wreath tied at the back with a ribbon. The effigy is executed in high relief in the neoclassical style, engraved by Josef Daniel Böhm. The circular legend surrounds the portrait, separated from the beaded border. The mint mark letter appears in the lower exergue below the bust truncation. |
