The escutcheon is flanked on the left by an olive branch and on the right by a palm branch, with a cross of Jerusalem to the left and a rampant lion to the right acting as supporters. The date 1749 appears in the exergue, and the circumferential Latin legend MEDIOLANI DUX·ET·C· identifies Maria Theresa as Duchess of Milan, running between a toothed border. |
