The Y#Pn7 designation signals pattern status — this piece was likely never issued for general circulation, struck as the entire Manchukuo monetary apparatus was days from collapse.

Puyi was removed from his throne in August 1945 when Soviet forces swept into Manchuria. He was captured at Mukden airport attempting to flee.
