| Description de l’avers | Central device comprises the twelve-pointed sun emblem of the Kuomintang party, rendered in high relief with alternating long and short rays radiating from a raised central disc. The legend 中華民國二十八年 (Year 28 of the Republic of China) is inscribed in Chinese characters arranged around the central motif within a plain inner border. The entire design is enclosed by a distinctive decorative outer border composed of a continuous geometric Greek key (meander) pattern, giving the coin a formal and authoritative appearance consistent with Republican-era pattern coinage. |

| Description du revers | Central field features a stylized representation of an ancient Chinese bronze kuei (鬶) vessel or spade-money form, rendered in bold relief and occupying the majority of the inner field. To the left and right of the central device appear the Chinese characters 分 and 壹 respectively, together denoting the denomination of one fen (壹分). A small character 桂 (Kuei) appears at the base of the central motif, serving as a mint or series identifier. The design is framed by the same continuous geometric Greek key border as the obverse, consistent with the overall artistic programme of this pattern series. |
