| Obverse description | The obverse features the twelve-rayed sun emblem of the Kuomintang party prominently displayed in the central field, rendered in high relief with a smooth central disc surrounded by twelve triangular rays. The device is encircled by a broad border decorated with a continuous interlocking geometric key-fret (meander) pattern. The Chinese legend 中華民國二十五年 (Year 25 of the Republic of China, corresponding to 1936) is arranged around the inner field, flanking the central motif. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents a stylized representation of an archaic Chinese spade money (布幣, bu bi), a form of ancient bronze currency, centrally positioned in the field in high relief.
