Reverse description A coiled imperial dragon rendered in high relief occupies the central field, its scaled body encircling a flaming pearl at centre. Below the dragon, stylised rocks and waves form the lower ground, while lotus-like foliage flanks the base. The dragon's head faces the viewer in a frontal aspect, with prominent horns, open jaws, and flowing whiskers, consistent with the Qing dynasty dragon type used on late-nineteenth and early-twentieth century provincial issues. The coin's milled border is clearly visible around the entire circumference.
