| Beschrijving keerzijde | A heraldic saltire cross (St. Andrew's Cross) centrally placed, upon which a crown is impaled at the intersection. Small subsidiary saltires are positioned in the left, bottom, and right angles formed by the arms of the large saltire, serving as decorative field ornaments. The surrounding legend names the Edinburgh mint. The overall composition is typical of James III's small copper issues, struck on an irregularly shaped flan with crude but purposeful die engraving consistent with the period. |
