Aanvullende informatie

Between 1741 and 1754, farthing production was erratic and politically low-priority — the denomination was increasingly resented by the public, who found copper coinage debased and poorly managed compared to silver. The Royal Mint struck these in comparatively small quantities, and several years within the range saw no production at all. Individual dates vary considerably in scarcity, a fact the KM number alone obscures entirely.
