| 背面描述 | Long cross pattée extending to the coin's edge, dividing the reverse field into four quadrants, each containing three pellets arranged in a triangular formation. This standard Plantagenet reverse design, known as the voided long cross with pellets, served as an anti-clipping device by allowing any reduction of the flan's edge to be immediately detected. The mint name legend surrounds the design, reading CIVI TAS LON DON, broken across the four quadrants in the customary medieval fashion. The die work is typical of the London Mint output during the Class 9a period. |
