| Beschrijving voorzijde | Facing crowned effigy of King Edward I within an inner beaded circle, rendered in the flat, stylised manner characteristic of late 13th-century English hammered coinage. The crown is trifoliate with no intermediate jewels between the main fleurs, a diagnostic feature of the Class 1c issue. The king's features are shown frontally with a schematic drapery at the shoulders.
