| Beschrijving voorzijde | Within a beaded inner circle, a small royal crown surmounting two crossed sceptres, distinguishing this Type 2 issue from the earlier type. The crowned sceptres device is centrally positioned within the inner circle, with the crown just breaking the circle at the top. A Latin legend surrounds the inner circle within the outer beaded border. On certain specimens, a fleur-de-lis (lis) privy mark appears on the obverse only, or on both sides, providing a key diagnostic feature for variety attribution. |
