Obverse description Draped bust of a young Queen Victoria facing left, her hair elegantly dressed and swept back into a chignon with flowing locks, occupying the central field. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the style typical of early Victorian trade tokens. A beaded border encircles the design, with the circular legend 'PAYABLE AT CORK' distributed around the periphery.

All lettering is incuse-struck in bold Roman capitals against a plain field, enclosed within a continuous beaded border.
