Reverse description Degenerate Nagari inscription reading 'Rama Raya', heavily stylized and reduced through repeated die copying to a near-abstract arrangement of strokes and curves. The legend, derived from earlier South Indian temple coinage traditions, is rendered in a crude, compressed form characteristic of late Dutch India fanam issues from Nagapatnam. Individual aksharas are discernible but significantly degraded, set within the plain round field with no border or additional ornament.
Reverse script Devanagari
Reverse lettering राम राया
