| Obverse description | Formalised Viraraya type design in the highly stylised late Vijayanagara tradition. The field displays a schematic rendering of a crowned figure reduced to geometric abstraction, with a tiered crown surmounted by a row of triangular points visible in the upper portion, flanked by elongated curved elements suggesting royal regalia. Below, a semicircular arch encloses a stylised body, consistent with the Herrli-1.06.05 ff classification of this fanam type. The design is executed in low relief on an irregular flan typical of hammered gold coinage of the period. |
