| Obverse description | Central design features a chuckram symbol set within a large crescent, above the Vishnupadam (sacred feet of Lord Vishnu), rendered as two curved lines flanked by ten pellets representing the toes. The entire central motif is enclosed within a decorative floral wreath. The composition reflects the strong Vaishnavite religious tradition of the Travancore royal house. |

| Reverse description | The bold raised initials 'R.V.' (standing for Rama Varma) are centrally positioned within an ornate scrolling floral wreath composed of intertwining vine stems, stylized leaves, and floral rosettes. Two small pellets flank the period between the letters on the KM#24.1 variety. The wreath is finely detailed, with the foliage rendered in a decorative South Indian artistic style, filling the coin's field elegantly. |
