Obverse description Central design features a chuckram symbol set within a large crescent, above the Vishnupadam (sacred feet of Lord Vishnu), rendered as two curved lines flanked by ten pellets representing the toes. The entire central motif is enclosed within a decorative floral wreath. The composition reflects the strong Vaishnavite religious tradition of the Travancore royal house.
