Reverse description Central field features the Travancore conch shell (sankha) emblem depicted as a boat-shaped vessel filled with a grid of raised pellets, flanked above by a curved scroll device. Below the conch, a trident-like symbol with flanking pellet ornaments occupies the mid-field. Tamil legends in bold raised characters are arranged around and within the field, giving the regnal date and denomination. The border is composed of a continuous row of small raised pellets and foliate elements encircling the design.
