Residual elements of the host coin's design are faintly visible beneath the overstruck impression. The overall surface is heavily worn and granular, consistent with circulation copper coinage of the period. |

Without a legible mint name — lost either to crude dies or wear — pinning this to Kabul, Qandahar, or any of the smaller issuing towns is guesswork dressed as scholarship.
