Reverse description The reverse features a large crescent opening to the right, framing a central rosette or floral ornament composed of a ring of pellets surrounding a central boss. Above and to the upper left, a partially visible Arabic inscription identifies the mint and regnal authority, rendered in a cursive Nastaliq hand. Additional linear decorative elements and pellets are scattered across the irregular field, consistent with the crude hammered style characteristic of Kabul Mint copper issues of Shah Shuja's reign.
