| Obverse description | Irregular hammered copper flan bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription filling the entire field. The legend, rendered in a bold and somewhat crude calligraphic hand, reads the Shahada: 'There is no god but Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.' The letters are deeply struck and heavily stylized, characteristic of provincial Afghan hammered coinage. The flan edges are uneven, with the inscription occasionally running to the edge of the coin. |

| Reverse description | Irregular hammered copper flan with a centrally placed Arabic mint inscription occupying the field. The legend reads 'Zarb Qunduz' (struck at Qunduz), rendered in a bold, rudimentary calligraphic style typical of provincial Afghan copper issues. The flan is noticeably thick and uneven, with characteristic hammer marks visible around the periphery. The overall strike is off-center, and light green patination is present across the surface. |
