Beschrijving voorzijde Crudely hammered rectangular copper flan bearing deeply struck but heavily worn Arabic script legends distributed across the field in multiple lines. The inscription, characteristic of siege coinage emergency issues, is struck with considerable force resulting in raised, irregular lettering. The surface exhibits pronounced die misalignment and an uneven strike consistent with the improvised production methods employed during the siege of Qandahar in the late seventeenth century. The flat, roughly squared planchet shows sheared edges and surface flow marks resulting from the hammering process. No figurative devices are present; the design is entirely epigraphic in character.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse displays a boldly struck but coarsely executed design featuring what appears to be a stylized architectural or symbolic motif in high relief at the centre of the field, consistent with a lamp or niche form surmounting a stepped or columnar base element. The strike is eccentric and the flan edges are irregular and sheared, typical of hastily produced siege currency. The raised central device is surrounded by a plain field with no border, and the overall execution reflects the emergency conditions under which this piece was produced. The surface carries a uniform dark brown patina with areas of cuprite oxidation.
