| Obverse description | Central rosette or stylized floral motif occupying the majority of the flan, with radiating petals emanating from a raised central boss. Small pellets are visible in the lower field, flanking the base of the design. To the right, a small subsidiary mark or numeral is present. The overall execution is characteristic of crude hammered civic coinage, with irregular flan edges and uneven relief typical of provincial Afghan copper issues of the mid-to-late nineteenth century. |
