Obverse description Central rosette or stylized floral motif occupying the majority of the flan, with radiating petals emanating from a raised central boss. Small pellets are visible in the lower field, flanking the base of the design. To the right, a small subsidiary mark or numeral is present. The overall execution is characteristic of crude hammered civic coinage, with irregular flan edges and uneven relief typical of provincial Afghan copper issues of the mid-to-late nineteenth century.

Reverse description Crude hammered field bearing a bold, deeply struck calligraphic inscription in Arabic script, likely indicating the mint name Jalalabad. The lettering is rendered in an informal, provincial hand with strokes of varying depth and width across the irregular flan. The design fills the available field with no clearly defined border, consistent with the unsophisticated die-cutting practices of civic Afghan copper coinage of this period. Surface irregularities and flow lines are evident throughout the field.
