| Obverse description | Hammered copper flan of irregular round form bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script arranged within the field, with arabesque floral decorative elements framing the inscription. The central legend reads 'Fi al-Tarikh Sanah 942', recording the Hijri regnal date. The lettering is bold and deeply struck, typical of Mughal copper coinage of the early sixteenth century, with naturalistic foliate scrollwork filling the remaining field. |
