| Obverse description | Struck in hammered copper, the obverse bears a two-line Arabic legend in Naskh script arranged across the field, divided by a horizontal line. The upper register bears the royal name and title of Sultan Hoshang Shah, and the lower register continues his honorific styling. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular flan typical of Malwa Sultanate copper issues, with patchy green verdigris and earthen deposits consistent with age. |
