| 裏面の説明 | The reverse bears a Persian-script legend recording the mint name and regnal year, reading 'Zarb Qandahar' (struck at Qandahar) with the Hijri date 1322 and regnal year 3, corresponding to the third year of Emir Habibullah Khan's reign. The inscription is arranged in the field in the bold, loosely rendered calligraphic style typical of Afghan provincial copper issues. The numerals ٣ and ١٣٢٢ are prominently displayed. The rim is plain with no decorative border. |

Habibullah Khan came to power in 1901 following the death of his father Abdur Rahman, inheriting a state that had been kept deliberately isolated from foreign commerce and modern coinage infrastructure. The Qandahar mint operated sporadically under his reign, producing copper fulus in small runs that served local bazaar trade rather than any centralized monetary system. Dies were cut by hand, and alignment varies considerably across the type.
