Obverse description Irregular hammered copper flan bearing bold Arabic-script calligraphy in two lines across the field, rendered in a characteristic Mughal nastaliq style. The legend, identifying the emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir, is executed in raised relief with sweeping horizontal strokes. Small floral or pellet rosette ornaments are scattered in the field around the central inscription, serving as decorative fillers typical of Mughal copper coinage. The flan edges are irregular and uneven, consistent with hand-struck production at a provincial mint. No formal border or inner circle is present.
